The common thing in all of these type threads is MILES RIDEN!!! \\;\\\\\\; if yu run under a couple hundred miles all the time them the beautiful Softtail bikes are a cool ride!
 \\;\\\\\\; when you start rollin those 200-400mile days then the Road King shows ya why it Earned it's name!!!
 \\;\\\\\\; and if ya ever roll them 300-400-500+mile days, day after day after day, then the Ultra shows ya why it was called the Ultra!!!!
 \\;\\\\\\; \\;\\\\\\; It s ALL about MILES RIDEN!!!!

RE: Thinking of going to a Road King
I've done 700+ miles on my Road King on back-to-back days. \\; I've done 4,000+ miles in 10 days on my Heritage Springer and it was slammed!
 \\;
If I'm riding, I'll be fine...don't really care what it's on.
 \\;
Yes, the cruise control on the Road King is nice, but not worth a crap when you're riding down the Pacific Coast on Hwy 1. \\; I did 14 hours on the Heritage Springer from Denver to Vegas...
 \\;
Just let me ride!!!
