AS stated, insert and turn key and lift up on nose of seat. It should pop right up.

I concur, give the key a crank with one hand, and lift the front of the seat (right where it joins the tank) with the other.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; When you remove it, you'll notice that there is a sliding/closing piece of metal underneath the seat&nbsp\\;that keeps it fastened to the front seat post (that pyramid looking post you mounted to the bike).&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;

I had the same issue.&nbsp\\; As long as the key is turned the locking mechanism is unlocked.&nbsp\\; The seat is hung up on the metal piece that attaches to rear fender.&nbsp\\; It is somewhat adjustable and seems to be pushed too far forward.&nbsp\\; Go ahead and yank it up from the rear with the key turned&nbsp\\;and u'll be good to go.&nbsp\\; Then adjust the fender mount bracket further back so as to eliminate this from happening again.&nbsp\\; Good luck.&nbsp\\;

I got a RK Classic. Don't know if same set up. Same problem. My seat pin is up front. Adjusted so pin entered lock and was not catching on sides of lock. Now easy on, easy off.
