Default SADDLEBAG LID COVERS

Has anyone installed these. My bags don't have any scuff markes yet and I would like to keep em that way. Just wondering if riding with these would rub the paint.

just KEEP the boots&nbsp\\; and hands off !!!!!!&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; they look like the old plastic slip covers for furniture.&nbsp\\; thats just my opion. if you don't have them scratched up leave them covers off. if you want to hide a scratch it would be a whole diffrent story

Never understood those who want to cover up a nice paint job.&nbsp\\; Scratched up crap, sure, but if you have a nice paint job you should be showing it off!

Got em, love em, and use on every long trip.&nbsp\\; Never a blemish afterwards.&nbsp\\; Always put another thick coat of wax on before, and there's never a problem.

When i had my Road King thought about the covers but went with&nbsp\\; the chrome lid rails. The rails work at keeping boot marks off and also was able to bungee stuff to them.

I went with a chrome covering by Saddlebag armor. Here is the link. I think they look sharp, and you can still see the paint underneath through the flames.&nbsp\\;You can never have enough skulls/flames, IMHO http://saddlebagarmor.com/designs.html
