does anyone know the flow rate on the CVO injectors? the stock flow rate is 3.91 gm/sec on the stock injectors part#27625-06

 

It's not the flow rate, but the spray pattern/angle that is different, I believe.

 

I believe you are correct bountyhunter since they didn't change anything with my SERT after they installed my CVO injectors on Monday. They did a re-map a couple of weeks ago and tweaked it a little and it ran fine except for the cold start problem which the CVO injectors fixed.

 

i know the angle goes from 8 degrees to 25 degrees but i'd like to know the flow rates on the cvo injector

 

This is info from another place I an subscribed to.

The 05 and earlier injectors had higher flow rates than the 06
stock injectors. 06 are 3.91 grams per second flow rated, and the 05 and
earlier are 4.35. The 25 degree injectors are rated at 4.89 gm/s.

 

This is excellent information to have! Any idea what the performance limitations are on the 8° injectors? Displacement, output or both?

Translated into more familiar terms of pounds per hour it looks like this, if I've done my math right:

`06 8° ---- 31.0 lb/hr
`05 ------- 34.5 lb/hr
CVO 25° -- 38.8 lb/hr

 

According to my SERT maps, the 06 CVO 103" engine has the same injector flow rate as the other 06 models, 3.91
