There are plenty of dealers in the Washington area.&nbsp\\;He can easily shop around from East Coast in Dumfries, VA&nbsp\\;to Williamsport in Maryland there are more that 10 dealers.&nbsp\\; Just takes little time and research.&nbsp\\; Good luck.

Lotta money for a young guy to spend. Lotta' money period. Too much chrome and this forum is full of problems with the SEs.

Getting a basic unit and maybe doing the basic 103 upgrades with 255 cams will get you all the power you need, at 120ft/lbs tq. I just saw posted on the dyno thread.

I saw a young guy do it recently with his "re-up" bonus.. or somethin' like that.. sheesh! that semed like a pretty tough way to get a shiny new machine.

I'd tell him to buy a regular Glide and use the money he saved not getting a SE to ride that bike around the country.

Last weekend Whitts in Manassas had an SE Ultra on there floor. He can get there in less then 30 minutes from Patriot and Winchester Harley is about an hour away, they seem like decent folks. Patriot is such a busy place, they don't need to deal.

 

Tell him to go to Whitt's HD in Manassas, it's not that far from Patriot's. They even have better service.
