I am looking to replace my SE AC with a K&amp\\;N Filter...&nbsp\\;

I stopped by the dealer last night and asked for a K&amp\\;N Filter and the parts guy brings out a Drag Specialties box.&nbsp\\; I go home and check it out and see that it is blue (blue oil) but it looks like it is made by K&amp\\;N.&nbsp\\;

Today when I got home from work I took off my AC cover and noticed the holes do not line up on the replacement filter with the SE filter.&nbsp\\; So after doing a little research on the net and HDForums.com, I can't seem to find whether K&amp\\;N makes a AC for the 2008 Touring bikes.&nbsp\\; All filters that I found said they fit TC engines except 2008 Touring.&nbsp\\; WTF?

Go to AutoZone Order K&amp\\;\\\\\\;N # HD 1508. The K&amp\\;\\\\\\;N website says this is the filter for the 2008 FLHTCUSE3

 

Unfortunately, I don't think that is what I am looking for.&nbsp\\; That filter will replace a stock touring AC but I have the SE (Screamin Eagle) AC

 

i too are looking for the se replacement i didnt see it listed so i sent a email to

amsoil asking if they had a direct replacment for the se filters i know they make

ton of different air fliters no reply so far if and when you do find it please post it here

&nbsp\\; I went with Screaming Eagle but I did no like the football cover and the paper filter, however, didn't have a whole lot of choices when the 08's first came out. &nbsp\\; I now have the Kury Hi Five with the round K&amp\\;N filter in it. Easy install, not cheap&nbsp\\;but it fully satisfied an itch and&nbsp\\;it looks good plus works well.&nbsp\\;

 

I just sent an email to K&amp\\;\\\\\\;N asking if they make a replacement filter for the Screaming Eagle AC for 2008 Touring models.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; I will let you know what I hear.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Quite honestly, I&nbsp\\;will be amazed&nbsp\\;if they don't make a replacement yet since the 08s have been out for almost a year.

 

I received a reply back from K&amp\\;N... they do not make a replacement filter for the Screeming Eagle 2008 Touring AC yet.&nbsp\\;

It has been about a year since the 2008 bikes have been out and all it would take is for them to relocate the three holes that are used to attach the AC to the bike.&nbsp\\; Hopefully soon.

Make your own holes using 1 of the original holes and put plugs in the other two.&nbsp\\; That's what I did.&nbsp\\; Got pics in one of my posts somewhere here on the forum.&nbsp\\;
