Dealer wrecked my Bike!
Hello,
My name is Rich and as you can see this is my first post. I would like to get your advice. Here is the situation
I own a 2007 FLHT with 9700 miles. Took the bike to the dealership for a minor problem (bike occasionally stalled) when the Tech took it out for a test run he wrecked my bike. I went in today and surveyed the damage and it is very extensive. My question to you…
 \\;
What would you expect from the dealership?

RE: Dealer wrecked my Bike!
Damn,
I'm upset and it isn't even my bike. \\; Depending on the extent of the damage, 'fixing' may be very difficult, especially if the frame has been compromised.
My assumption is that the dealer already indicated what they were going to do prior to your post......my question is how will they decide whether to consider it cosmetic damage or a total loss?

New bike, no if's and's or but's about it !!! Equal bike, not a brand new Screamin' Eagle.

Exactly what I was thinking…NEW BIKE. They want to order up all the parts /paint and take their time to “Do it right” I say bull sh*t. You wrecked it you buy it! Then you can take all the time you want to fix it.
Personally, I think they should offer a new bike, and soon.
