New Harley rider. Bought an '05 Road King and have noticed how hot it gets on my upper legs.&nbsp\\; Does anyone have any thoughts on the electric blowers?&nbsp\\; Are they worth the price?&nbsp\\; Thanks

We sell a ton of 'em to the State Troopers. Mind you, there's no mounting kit for the '08's yet.

The concept is good, but the HD fans are very expensive. Aftermarket units like the LeNale have questionable reliability but are cheaper. I would try addng an oil cooler to bring down peak oil temperatures, which should help noticeably.

going to a synthetic lowers your temps and of course heat shields do work good

Try COOL THIGHS! Not too expensive, they work and there is NO installation. &nbsp\\;Best part is that you can take them from bike to bike easily!!! [sm=signs003.gif]

I installed a fan by Lenale engineering.&nbsp\\; I have had no problems with it except the little horn bracket broke off so I just used the relocation kit and went with the stock horn.&nbsp\\; When I am in traffic I reach down and put the fan on.&nbsp\\; As I start moving more I turn it off.&nbsp\\; I also have an oil cooler and use all synthetic.&nbsp\\; Here's a link to my bike:
