anybody else have the issue of using an MP3 player(with the aux jack) being much quieter than the radio or cd player. i ckd the MP3 player and made sure volume was up and went into settings to make sure max volume was up on "line out".. wonder if anyone has any input on this... i also "supposedly" i have the latest software per HD website..

Never mind. You already did what worked for me!
&nbsp\\;
Yaa. I did. When I hit the forum people told me to make sure the player is turned to full volume and my sansa had another setting that increased the volume even more. I can't remember what it's called and I don't have the player with me today. But it was under settings. I turned that on and ran the volume control to full and Walah!

Wow. That thing is trippy. So do you plug that into the MP3 player and then run a jumper to the stereo?

If you should find that your mp3 files are recorded at too low of a level, this free program will increase the volume and make them play louder.&nbsp\\; http://mp3gain.sourceforge.net

Yes that is all you need to do.&nbsp\\; Works like a charm, found mine for the same price at Radio shack.&nbsp\\; I have a little i-pod shuffle and with the booster, music is loud enough to hear at highway speed.&nbsp\\; And with rechargable batteries will last a lifetime, I plug them both end the night before a ride, and the next day I am good for over 13 hours of music.

Radio Brat (like mentioned above) use to have device similar to a bosteroo, or perhaps they still do.
BOsteroo Works great, for what it is.

Also, have you tried another device in your Aux to troubleshoot your signal output some more ?
