TIRE REMOVAL

RE: TIRE REMOVAL
10mm 12 pt. to remove the caliper bolts\\; 3/8" 6pt to loosen axle pinch bolts\\; 3/4" 6pt to remove axles nut. \\; Pay attention to the spacers since they are specific right and left\\; at least they are on my '04 EG.
 \\;
There are torque values for all the above when you reinstall.
 \\;
The Service Manual has an excellent step-by-step procedure in it, along with the torque values. \\; It doesn't, however, provide the tool info above.
 \\;
Good luck with your project.
 \\;
P.S. \\; All caps is the forum equivalent of screaming/shouting.

RE: TIRE REMOVAL
Just had a thread on this the other day. jpcycles.com has a bead breaker for $40 and nylon rim protectors for $6. Then a couple of tire spoons and your on your way. Dyno bead offers balance beads that are installed through the valve stem. One once per tire does a nice balance job. Dyno beads are a little hard to find but dynobead.com will turn up a local dealer.
