It's a pin stripe, computer generated, then clear coat!

I'd love to do this and make it match the Merlot of my bike's 2nd color. HD wants $550 for a matched painted one! I know there's a few people around that will do an HD color match for a couple hundred bucks. But I was reading my service manual and it looks like pulling that inner fairing off to do the painting or swap is a major job!!! Is it easier than it looks??

I found Paul on Facebook (Painted Harley Fairings) and he did a great job. One week for paint and 2.5 hours of my install and it really changes the look of the bike:

Looks good!!! I know I love mine, dramatic change of the looks of the bike.
