ZZM- \\; Did I forget to mention I'm will'in to throw myself on this grenade for ya, that's right, I'll eat this one, but just for you, I'll take that POS off your hands and not charge you to haul it away. \\;\\\\\\; Please tell me where I should pick it up...If \\;\\\\\\;I look \\;\\\\\\;like the cat that caught the canary when I walk up, helmet and gear in hand, \\;\\\\\\;it's just because you're supporting my addiction...

RE: Thinking of selling
WTF is wrong with some people in this damn forum. If you don't like the guy's question, move on. Why bust his ***** because you don't like his point of view. Moreover, while we may prefer HD to other brands, by suggesting that this guy go buy a honda or kawasaki or whatever, you're making an *** out of yourself. If you've never run a metric, then you don't know the quality bikes they do make. I've ridden many Yamahas, Kawasakis, and Suzukis. They're good bikes.

RE: Thinking of selling
I agree, dump the 07. After renting an 07 for a full day of experiencing its whiny fifth gear and its waffle iron hot motor when I traded away my 02 I went for an 06. I'm not paying premium prices for a re-designed motor and transmission full of flaws. You other suckers can do that. I'll wait till the Moto company fixes their design mistakes or just keeping buying the 06 and earlier models. Harley, are you listening???

RE: Thinking of selling
You are right just talked to a guy today and he just sold his 08 and bought back his 06 from a guy I just don't understand what is going on. He did tell me that he would have to drop about 1600.00 dollars to make \\;his 08 \\;run cooler he said and the noicefrom the tranny and stress fractures on the back bags from the vibrations. He did suggest to me that if I was interested in buying a new bike wait and buy a used one that \\;the previous owner did all \\;the work. Alot of bikes are dropping the prices \\;used ones that I am saying. well good \\;luck \\;

RE: Thinking of selling
 \\;Seems like the forum has been very negative lately. I'll bet if you could find a Ferrari forum, you could find out that there are all kinds of mechanical issues. I've only been riding for about 11 years, and my first road bike was a Harley. It Vibrated, was hot and made all knids of noises. My CVo Springer is the same. \\;Isn't that the way they're supposed to be? Like my old 66 Chevelle. Loads of fun! \\;Let's ride!

RE: Thinking of selling
To the OP, I would ride the bike, get the extended warrantee if you are concerned, then decide after it expires.
 \\;
The rest of you that have negative responces to the OP's question are pathetic. Way to help a fellow rider. It must be nice to be better than everyone.
