Got a problem.&nbsp\\; Local dealer says can't put ape hangers on an 08' Road King

I have an 08' Road King Anniv. with the electronic throttle and cruise.&nbsp\\; I need a set of 16" ape hangers with the throttle side notched to accept the throttle sleeve.&nbsp\\; Anybody know who makes em and where to buy them.

try carlini, they might be able to notch them for you.&nbsp\\; i would be worried about the electric throttle though, if you extend those wires, you will potentially add resistance, thus messign with the drive by wire setup

 

Check out the wild1 their good bars.&nbsp\\;I'm sure any&nbsp\\;quality bar keeps up with the industry and&nbsp\\;if they don't have them now they will soon. Call wild 1 tech support.

Check out www.johnnyvaughn.com .&nbsp\\; They have Wild 1 Chubby apes for 08's and all the cables and brake lines to go with them.&nbsp\\;Good outfit to deal with.&nbsp\\;

 

Any wrench that can change his own bars can adapt early bars to
fbw......simply file a couple of notches in the end...use OEM bars for quide.
