engine heat @ clutch plate cover

engine heat @ clutch plate cover
i'm new to riding the eglide and mine seems to get hot on the clutch cover whitch seem to stay hhot and warm for some time after my ride. is this normal or should i have it checked out. oh by the way its a 1999 flht.
