Sticky Throttle
\\;Any suggestions on how to free up what seams to be a sluggish throttle. I have lubed the \\;cables and even had the dealer re-adjust them , but the trottle on my RD King seams very slow to return to zero. It snaps back very slowley, however it does come back all the way. I was wondering if anyone had the same issue and what they did to fix it. Thanks

RE: Sticky Throttle
If your front brake lever assembly is separate from the throttle and switch housing, you may be distorting the trottle and switch housing when ya tighten the brake lever assembly down first. \\; Loosen the brake assembly and throttle assembly then retighten the throttle and see if the throttle works properly. \\; If it does work properly, make sure the assembly is tight on the handle bars, then tighten down the brake lever assembly.

RE: Sticky Throttle
Had the same problem with my 96 RK. Dealer lubed it, I lubed it, blah, blah, blah.
Got a bottle of Dri Slide Bike Aid - Problem solved. Put the "hypo" (it's a very slim needle) in as far as I could and shot the stuff through until it started coming out by the carb. Worked it for a minute and it snapped back like it was brand new.
