I just bought the same Vivid black with cruise 18750.00 out the door no setup or docking fee. Had them put the chrome lowers, riders esencials pack witch is the detachable sissy bar with a nice luggage rack, scremin eagle air cleaner, sundowner seat and painted inner faring and cap. Witch will be installed Thursday I cant wait. That came to 22500.00. I dont like the sundowner seat have corbin on the way. Blue Springs HD good people.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nb sp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;

17500 out the door. i paid taxes out of pocket on it. 2007&nbsp\\;SG with black wheels&nbsp\\;and security.&nbsp\\;Now of course im purchased my baby through military sales. Now im not calling anyone&nbsp\\;out but 300 over price is a little far fetched. 13500 almost un heard of. &nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;

&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; Well...... it's what i wanted to pay.....unfortunely like everyone else here i paid $21,000.00 out the door which include tags and taxes for the Duracell Model.

&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; dmgary you would think since you brought your bike&nbsp\\;through military sales that the state wouldn't charge you sales taxes as apreciation for your services to your Country.

bwahahahaha, you ever been to louisiana? they rape you with sales tax. they could care less about your service, only your pocketbook. the only good thing is plates are good for 4 years.

i'm sure there are some good deals to be had through aafes, i'm just not sure that they are all good deals. i know when i was in iraq, the salesman stresses very hard the 'no sales tax' angle. he didn't bother to tell folks that when they go to register it in the states, the dmv is gonna want there money. i thought that it was a very shady practice on his part, as a lot of younger soldiers don't know that. i found that the deal i could get through aafes was about the same as i could get through my dealer, with the exception that aafes included a 2 year extended warranty. but otherwise, same price. considering that i could finance the sales tax as part of the sale, it made more sense (to me) to buy it from my dealer, rather than fork out a couple grand to put tags on it. ymmv.

I paid about 12k less for a 2001 model for 2 main reasons: 1) $12,000&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; 2) whenever I buy new I tend to baby it instead of ride it.
I agree with others though, if he's happy it's worth it!

Price sounds about right.&nbsp\\; My dealer wouldn't budge on waiving freight and prep.&nbsp\\; I got it waived on my first Harley, but not this time.
