Default Minibeast Air Horn & All Who Do Not Have An Air Horn

I just got back home from the NC State Hog Rally. I went into the vendor's area with the goal to buy the Minibeast horn. I went up to this vendor and he had the Minibeast and the Strebuel (sp?) Nautilus horns. I didn't realize it but the Minibeast is a Nautilus horn with the square looking chrome cover. I thought the Minibeast was it's own brand of horn. Anyway, I decided to buy the Minibeast and the guy installed it on the spot for me.

What a difference this horn is compared to stock. Believe-it-or-not, the horn saved me from an accident on the way home from the rally. While on I-85, this idiot cager decided he want wanted to share a lane with me. I hit the Minibeast, and it scared the bejebbers out of him, he jerked his Jeep back over into his lane. I do not think he would have reacted like this if I had the stock horn. The horn already paid for itself!

An air horn is a must have on your bike. The louder the better.

Ride safe.

Yes an airhorn IMHO is a must. The stock horn isn't loud
enough to get anyone's attention especially the idiots
driving along with their "tunes" blasting. Mind you even
a truck/train airhorn might not get thru that noise!

The Mini-Beast was one of the first accessories to go on my 2003 Ulra and when I got the 2006 Ultra I installed one the first day.

Google is full of links if you search. Here's one priced at $115, considerably cheaper than Harley's version of an air horn

Yep. me to, the mini-beast is simply awesome when it comes to volume and getting cagers attention. It saved me from a crash when a SUV was going to run a stop sign and you guessed it. I gave them a good dose of loud medicine and they stopped in the middle of the intersection enabling me to not t-bone them. Close call. It is money well spent. The average motorcycle horn is not loud enough, the mini-beast is. Also you can vary the volume by just barely touching the switch.
