I purchased the 8" solid black. I can see over it just fine at 6'0 tall. Just be sure you don't get a shorter tech riding it for a test drive after service...they may have an issue.

Will probably go with a Clearview later on, but I am quite happy with the Fastaire. Good price and good quality for the price.
