Default Right side Pop & Gurgle

Hey guys, I have SE slipons, SERT and dyno tune. I've been getting pop and gurgle on decel since my tune and intend to have dealer re-check the MAP but I just realized that I'm only hearing this mess coming from the right pipe. Is this an idication that a problem exists in only one cylinder or is popping only ever heard on the right side due to cross-over or something like that?

OEM headers are not true duals. right side dominance on stock touring exhaust is normal as far as I know.

Yes this is true. Stock exhaust system is approximately 70% out the right pipe.

Frank, break down and go with true duals. Make it bark evenly from both sides and you and your ride will be happier. You will feel the difference, get with the program!

Frank this pop on decel is this at all rpm's ? The reason I asked I got my bike back and it is much better. I get the pop but it is rare and happens above 4500 rpm's. Witch I never go there I just did it to wind it out to feel the perfprmance. The bike runs much smoother now. Fuel milage is back. A nice smooth idle and less shake. On occation I get a pop when I reve up when the light turns green. I am going to take it back he says I need a step up adjustment. What ever that means. He does not mind spending time tweeking it. So thats fine with me. Bob.

Bob, the pop is predominatly 2k and below. Also when I get down to around 1400 I feel a slight surge.

Ya get a good lookin' set of pipes, zero clamps, no gaps, chrome billet tips with removable baffles, triple stepped headers, solid welded double wall construction, easy install with that fat look from front to rear. The added bonus is great performance and awesome sound. Throw a PCIII and custom dyno tune into the mix and ya got a bike that runs fantastic and pulls hard from idle to WFO (75hp/84tq). Find me a better set of true duals and I'll buy em!

When I had a pop it was because my right side muffler was leaking at the inlet.....the dyno-tuner found it.

I have the same problem on my RKC with Sampson Rolled Thunder mufflers and a carb job/ breather on my CV carb. If I lean on it and let the rpm's fall during shifting mine will pop. The only cure I can find to stop the pop is to get back on the gas quick.
