Default Lowering Road King and big wheeling it.

Hello everyone. I am a new proud owner of a 03 Road King. I have spent countless hours reading here and in bagger magazine looking for the perfect stance. So far I think I am leaning towards 21" front, stock on back for now. Arnott air ride in rear with chrome guage and switch and 2" progressive front lowering springs. I like the low look with big front wheel. Currently the stock rims&nbsp\\;are hidden buy the rotor way too much for my liking. I have also considered chroming my rims just think I will regret not geting a big front.
&nbsp\\;
Questions, what is the lowest compression measurement on rear shocks if i want to be right above damage (harness and fender) I hear 10-10.5" the arnott shocks come in 10.25" I just want this for low speed or parked. I will air up above safty when riding.

Would love a system with auto leveling just have not found one I can afford to do along with a front rim and tire. The above kit is around $700 on ebay

With 2" lowered front forks can I put a 21" with no fender mods? If so what size wheel and tire? 21"X3.5"
&nbsp\\;
Thanks in advance- MAX

forgot to mention I have custom paint and do not want to repaint front fender due to mods. I would go with a 18" before doing that.

Lowering the front will have nothing to do with whether or not you will need to adjust the fender, as the relationship b/w wheel and fender will remain unchanged.&nbsp\\;Some have had to enlarge the rear mounting holes of the front fender and "tilt" it forward a bit, if you are gonna have a rubbong issue it will be at the 10:00 O'clock position... I didn't raise mine.. it warped, I bought FBI front fender!

Check it by putting a 3/8in. piece of rubber hose on the wheel and spin.. You'll know if you need to make the adjustment and I believe you could do it w/o damage to your custom paint... I run a 21x3.25 Renegade up front and a 18x4.25 rear...

your pic did not work. What size rim and tire did you use?
&nbsp\\;
Any suggestions on rear shock compression size? 10 or 10.25" ect?

run a metzler tire up front avons expand under heat and speed, metz dont a 21x3.5 and stocker on back for me. to check for rear clearance put your bike on a jack then remove the shocks and slowly lower it till it hits the fender then add 1/2" tothe lenght from bolt to bolt

can I see a pic of your stocker and 21"? I assume your are refering to the spoke&nbsp\\;ri&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;I was asking about the compression measurement so&nbsp\\;I can slam the bike via air shocks and not worry about taking out my fender and harness.
