SG Antena?

SG Antena?
So my new 08 SG is coming along. I want to put a shorter antena on that works well and dont know who to go with. I heard that the short rubber ones are junk cause they bend and the reception isnt all that well. I also heard if you go with the short version on the factory look (hard) that they work pretty well. Can anyone here suggest a company to go with? If so I would like to try and order one online ASAP, thanks.

RE: SG Antena?
I think the '08 antennas are different, but '07's can be cut down. I cut mine about in half, keeping in mind '07's were much longer than '08's, and it is now about 27" in length (including the base). Reception is fine at this length, even in remote areas. I originally cut it down to keep it from hitting me in the face every time I walked around the bike.

I have the short rubber one from autozone (about 5 bucks) and it works great for am/fm. \\; I don't use the cb so I can't tell you how that works. \\; Yeah, it bends but thats a good thing. \\; It always goes back to shape even after sitting with cover on it after the winter.

I have the short rubber one from Autozone like Hardly Dangerous has \\;as well, have had it for about 5 year and no problems. Great reception. I put a cover over the bike each winter which causes the ant to bend way over, but it always bounces back and never have had any issues.
