Default Question..blocked view on Ultra Batwing

Just wondering if it was a problem for anyone getting used to the&nbsp\\;blocked view on&nbsp\\;the batwing on an Ultra vrs. the open view from a roadking windshield.&nbsp\\; Considering getting an Ultra, but concerned about the block view that the batwing causes.&nbsp\\; Any opinions?&nbsp\\;

By the time you get close enough to something for the view of it to be blocked, you are going to hit it anyway.

You wont even notice the batwing after 50 miles.

I know what you mean, but this has never been an issue with me. In fact, I never noticed it after moving from an RK 19 months ago, but did when I sat on an RK months after that. I don't think the blocked areas are important, though, as I've never felt like my visibility was impaired. Overall I like the batwing alternative to the RK windshield because of the stereo, gauges, and hand protection in cold weather.

No blockage at all. you can see over it completly and around it completly. The bat wing is sweet. I dont even look at touring bikes with out 1 any more. They look naked.

I am only 5' 9" tall and I don't understand what people are referring to as a "blocked view" I see over the dash just fine. I have never considered my view to be blocked.
