I have over 7000 miles and mine still look like the day I put them on.

 

Almost 20,000 on my 07 and they still look new.&nbsp\\; (knock on wood)

 

Rinehart WILL NOT replace the end caps if you have had them for more than a year AND they require your orig sales receipt as proof. They readily admit the problem is their fault but WILL NOT bend the rules anymore since Karen is gone and the new warranty supervisor (witch) Linnea has taken over. I just contacted her last week and advised her my $1000.00 exhaust system is only 1.5 years old and she told me to pound sand [:@]&nbsp\\;. I hung up on her and decided to replace the caps with chrome and be done with it. I have the old caps on EBay to recover some $$. THANKS for nothing RINEHART !!!

 

I just got the same response from Linnea, as my true duals are a little over a year.

you can remove the coating with oven cleaner (easy off) spray on wait 20 min wash off with sopy water and fine steel wool repeat as needed. you can polish with mothers when done will look like chrome just need to keep up with it or you could just paint with gloss black engine paint.

Sounds like I am glad I didn't buy Rineharts.

 

I found the end caps from Eastern Performance. I'm thinking about the afterburner ends, or else the black slashed ends. Does anyone have a better picture of the afterburner ends?
