Default Inner Fairing Mirrors

HAs anyone installed the inner fairing mount mirros on their bikes?&nbsp\\; Are they easy to install and do you like them better than the stock mirrors that came on the bike?

It's easy and I prefer them to the stock EG mirrors.&nbsp\\; Next time you are at your dealer, ask the parts guy to print out the instructions that come with the fairing mount mirrors kit, then read them to see if it's something you are comfortable doing.&nbsp\\; If you can take off your outer fairing, you can do this installation easily.

I have em on my EGC. I love em. Easy install. The one thing I'd suggest if you decide to do it is be very careful about marking exactly right with the template\\; and especially on the left side, consider drilling/mounting approx 1/16" to 1/8" higher and more to the outside edge from what it calls for. I find less vibration, clearer rear view, and a way better look than stock.&nbsp\\;

I agree with Ugly Troll, I followed the instructions and had to relocate the mirrors a little higher and futher out.&nbsp\\; Before you drill the holes figure out where you want them that way you won't have to drill twice like I did.&nbsp\\; Love the look, the handle bars look much cleaner without the mirrors.

I also followed the instructions and they suck (at least on mine).&nbsp\\; They need to be higher and further out.&nbsp\\; When you relocated them, what did you do with the prior holes?

When you go to the dealer, sit on a street glide to see if you like them first. On my 06 sg they where a little low. Harley has sence come out with a safety fix which raises them to a better height that works great.

I RENTED A BIKE THAT HAD THEM AND I FOUND THEY VIBRATED ALOT.
LOOKED GOOD AND EASY TO SEE BUT THE VIBRATION WAS TO MUCH

&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; GREAT mirrors.. not oly clean things up, but[I think]&nbsp\\; a very useable item. I don't think&nbsp\\; I have much vibration as I've ridden with them a lot of years

Dang, I purchased mine last summer and using the template provided they ended up low and tooooo far in.&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;
When did the "safety fix" come out and do you have a copy of it?

On an Ultra, the fairing mirrors suck versus the windshield or extended stem mirrors on the bars.
&nbsp\\;
Take it from me - I have got all SIX mounted [:-][:-][:-]&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;
Some wrenchs at the shop got a good laugh&nbsp\\;when I brought the scoot in for tires today.
&nbsp\\;
All I said was, I like things in sixes:&nbsp\\; &nbsp\\;six mirrors, six speakers, six foot rests, six packs,......
