RE: Road King vs Street Glide opinions - but wait!
I bought a RK and wish now I had the SG. Aint that the way it goes. I rode a buddy's and loved the fairing and RADIO!! The fairing added a bit more weght to the forks and it made slow manuvering something to get use to. If I had it to do over again, and I will in a couple of years, I'd go with the SG

I've had both and here's the rundown based on my experiences:
SG pros:
1. Stereo
2. Gauges
3. Hand protection in cold weather
SG cons:
1. Hand protection in hot weather (don't need it).
2. Can't remove fairing.
3. Needs a real windshield (easy fix).
4. Needs better shocks (easy fix).
5. Needs saddlebag guards (easy fix).
RK pros:
1. Can remove windshield for those times when you want the wind in your face.
2. Hands don't get quite so warm in hot weather.
RK cons:
1. Poor hand protection in cold weather.
2. No stereo
3. No gauges (except aftermarket hang-on units).
For me, the SG has the RK beat hands down, but I have very fond memories of my RK and still think it's the second-best bike HD makes.
