Default 160 rear tire options!!!!!

I just installed a set of metzelers, a 21 up front and a 160/55/18 out back on my '06 Road Glide. I currently have 2700 miles on these tires and I can see already that I'm only gonna get maybe 4 outta the rear tire.&nbsp\\; WTF...
To you boys that have gone the 160 route, is there another brand out there that you have found holds up mileage wise better than the marathon??&nbsp\\; I love the grip, but 4K ain't gonna cut it, and I'M NOT TAKING MY HAND OUTTA THE THROTTLE! ( I know that was coming... :-)

You mite try the Dunlop E3.I have them on my glide,and there&nbsp\\;lasting pretty good.Just replaced the rear with 5000 miles because of a nail.It still had a lot of tread left.I think I can probly get 10,000 miles at least out of them.&nbsp\\;

Regarding the Elite 3's, they don't make an 18" nor 21" version.

Just switched from 150 Avon to 150 Metz...thought that 7,000 was bad on the Avon, figured the metz was going to be better.&nbsp\\; Guess I was wrong.

What mods did you do to put a 150 or 160 tire on a bagger?&nbsp\\;
