is the 160/55/18 a radial tire? If so, how are you mismatching, thought that was a no-no.

 

Don't think my Metz 160 on a 18x5.5 even made it to 4000. And that's just riding it and maintaining it at 50psi. Stepped up to a 180 now and am hoping it does a lot better.

 

I'm not worried about it.&nbsp\\; Lots of custom bike builders and companies like big dog and others do it all the time. They don't seem to have a problem.&nbsp\\; I think that's a stigma from back in the days when radials first came out.&nbsp\\; If you look at modern bike tire design, they are very similar, radial or not.&nbsp\\; I have been doing it for years with NO problems.
