Street Glide or Road King

RE: Street Glide or Road King
One thing nobody has mentioned yet is what happens to the bags on a Street Glide when you forgot that you did not extend the jiffy stand when you go to get off? One time is all it took for me with me RKC to realize that no matter how sissy they might look, the full compliment of crash bars are worth the cost of admission.
Anyway, who needs tunes on a bike?
But I will admit that the only bike that has ever turned my head from my RKC is the SG... if only for a minute.

King vs. Glide....tough choice but since you want apes I think you're decision just got a little easier-King! \\;
 \\;
But, regardless of which you chose you're gonna' wish you had the other one too. \\; Just human nature to want something else, I guess.

I've been debating this myself for awhile.Trading my fats for either SG or RK.I'm kind of partial to apes so if i stay that route the RK is the only option.SG is a killer bike but not with apes.Maybe the wild1 10' 575 i believe,they dont go over the fairing.Another thing is once you go permanant fairing as in the SG thats it your stuck.With the RK you could always add the detatchable later.Man i just cant decide.You know what! maybe i just did....

RE: Street Glide or Road King
Hi
To each their own, but I traded in my 07 FLHR for an 08 FLHX just this past Sunday.
I loved the King, but the SG feels much much better to me.
While these things are all subjective, I like the handling/features/looks of the SG much better.
All the things I wanted to do to my King just seemed to melt away when I drove the SG home. [well minus new pipes :-) ]
I have owned both, but as with anything, your mileage may vary...
Cheers
