There is a reason the SG is MOCO's best selling model.

if you want apes, there is no question, road king, you can add a windshield and a radio, but you cant take the tairing off the sg in 5 minutes.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; and everyone knows, all the cool guys got apes on raod kings.
&nbsp\\;
i love wide glised, if you like the way it ries adn handles, the king is gonna be closest but a lot more comfortable

All the reviews I've read, I've heard just the opposite. What I've read is the SG isn't as good on long rides as the RK and the suspension tends to be less tolerant with bumps on the road.
&nbsp\\;
Never owned one, just what I've heard from a few different reviews.

I have a street glide which I really like.&nbsp\\; Next time I will Probably get a road king because with a tank mounted speedo you can get a quadzilla or similar batwing and fill your fairing with speakers instead of gauges.&nbsp\\;

There are only two touring bikes I would own and you are chossing between them. Currently have a RKC and love it. I will admit that my gaze has been straying though to a SG. I don't like the look of all the guages nor the fuel lid but&nbsp\\;the batwing is a fine looking option and the radio would be nice. I expect in several years I will be needing to make the choice your making and don't know which way I would go. Good luck.

I had an 02 Wide Glide. I looked at the R K and S G. I bought the STREET GLIDE. I have not looked back. The SG was the best fit and the best function for me. A friend of mine was trying to persuade me to go with the Ultra. I tried one but it was too top heavy for me. If I ever need the extra luggage space I'll just get the king tour pack. Try both bikes and you will know by the feel which is best for you. Then ENJOY the ride
