Theres a gremlin in my bike, need help
Today I left to ride and noticed my blinkers aren't working right.
 \\;
When I hit the brake, front or back my right rear blinker stays on until I let off the brake. \\; When the blinker blinks so does the tail light, only on the right.
 \\;
The green indicator in the inner fairing stays on too when I hit the brake. \\; Only on the right side?
 \\;
It has been intermitent all day so I may have a short etc Dunno?
 \\;
Any ideas? \\; where to start.

It sounds like you are discribing an intermittant open circuit.
 \\;
If you have not tried to already, I would try to reproduce it in the garage. \\; With the ignition \\;on (engine off) and the turn signal on\\;  \\;pull, push and flex the turn signal wires and connectors.
 \\;
Sometime wire connectors \\;do not get crimped properly. \\; Somtimes the wire connectors do not get inserted into their housing all the way.
 \\;
Does it just fail when only the front brake is applied? \\; If so, concentrate on the wires/connections on the handle bar.
 \\;
You could also disconnect and resnap each connector in the turn signal circuit.
 \\;
I hope that this helps.

Bossman might be right, but from the problem description I don't think so. \\; 2006Ultra said that either his front or back signal lamp will stay on until he lets off of the brake.
 \\;
I just re-read his problem. \\; He said that when the blinker blinks so does the tail light. \\; That is odd.
 \\;
Maybe 2006Ultra should go back to his last mod and recheck his work.

I had a tombstone tail light that did a similar thing when I went out for a ride it did the same thing. The filament was broken and would make occaisional contact. Never saw that before. Usually they burn out too short to make a contact. Just sayin might change a two dollar bulb and see.

Try running the diagnostics program on your bike. Instructions are located on this forum for that, I tried typing it all out only to have the forum tell me I was forbidden \\;[:@]. I am guessing that you are probably throwing a code for S (TSM/TSSM [Turn Signal/Turn Signal Security Module]). Also, have you made any changes to your lighting or wiring or are you still OEM.
