RE: Kuryakin ISO throttle grip too stiff
I Had a similar situation on my 08 SG. \\;My 08 SG is Throttle-By-Wire (TBW) and has no cables to adjust or lube. \\;I also have electronic cruise control so there isn’t any thumb screw at the throttle. \\;I tried to loosen up the controls and move out the grip thinking it was binding on the sensor, this didn’t work. \\;Then I played with the indexing of the ISO grip to the sensor and found that, as I pulled out the grip enough to disengage the sensor, rotated it a little, then push it back in to engage the sensor, it moved a little more freely. \\;I kept doing this until the grip was installed rotated about 180 degrees from where I started and it fixed the problem. \\;I can’t explain it but I do know loosening up the controls didn’t seem to help me. \\;Good luck and let us know what your fix was.
