Default A/C question for an 08 Ultra

Got some new V&H Ovals, and the FuelPak is on the way. Looks like I'm in need of a high-flow air cleaner. I don't want to start a debate on what brand is better, so let me ask some specific questions:

1. Whether I go with the SE or K&N A/C, will these work with the stock A/C cover I have now? I'm rather partial to it, but not sure how the new filter shape will fit in there.

2. Without starting a war on preferences, are there any negatives I should be aware of regarding the SE or K&N kits that would assist me with figuring out which way to go?

Love the forum...becoming more technical every day...

1. Yes

I ve had exp with both. NEss"s is alittle bigger but basically the same. You can use your stock housing. I have heard of some blowby issues&nbsp\\;with the B.S. But Im not sure&nbsp\\;that was on a new bike. I am running the SE with the same setup you have and it runs great.&nbsp\\; 1 to 2 pops on decel after pegging the throttle to about 5k. IT dont get any better!
