If you are talking about the '08, it will not likely need changing yet.
If you are talking about the Wideglide is it EFI or Carb?

Buy a service manual before you get the urge to tinker!

do you have the part in your hands? I'm leaving on a trip Saturday and have called dealers in three states trying to locate one. There's a national backorder, which I guess is supposed to clear this week as posted elsewhere on the forum. However, my dealer didn't have a date, so who knows. I figured that if I had the part in my tour pak, I'd spend less time waiting for one IF I have a problem. By the way, I've been told it's a three-hour job to install the $30 part!
