Default RE: Derby cover bolts SUCK!!

Regardless of what a few have said, I'm sure we have all made some goof ups we learned from. I have even used the wrong size tool because it was listed in the book. You just know you were doing it right, but it still got screwed up. Lessons learned. Next time you'll probably ace it and go on to the next issue with a little more confidence.

Default RE: Derby cover bolts SUCK!!

This was actually the second oil change. Dealer did the first. In defense&nbsp\\;of myself, the dealership service writer is the one that told me to use a T-25. I originally broke 3 bolts loose, no issue. I striped the 4th, and after I stripped the 5th I called the dealership to ask if there was some sort of trick to get these bolts out. This is when I was told to "tap a T-25 torx with a hammer and try again". Even when I finally drove out to the dealer to get some new chrome bolts they again&nbsp\\;told me to use a T-25. This was the parts guy this time. I knew&nbsp\\;it didn't feel right, but my next size up was a 30, I believe. Didn't know there was a 27. Live and learn. A 45 minute oil change turned into a 2 hour ordeal[:@]&nbsp\\;
