I usually put mine in one of the leather pouches on top of my fairing.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Last time I used it I forgot to get it out of my side bags.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; It worked there as well.
&nbsp\\;
As long as it is oriented the correct way (easy to do, imagine it's position when it is stuck to the windshield of a car, that is the position it should be in when on your bike).&nbsp\\; Keep it on the right side of the bike and pass thru the toll booth left of center (so the toll-pass is as close to center as possible).&nbsp\\; You should not pass thru a tollbooth with your wheels in the center of the toll lane - lots of oil and gunk on the ground in the center of the lane.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; Think about it, if it can be read thru a steel and glass cage, I think it can be read inside a little leather pouch or a fiberglass saddlebag.&nbsp\\; If in doubt, velcro it to the back of your helmet.&nbsp\\; I like the 55 mph ez-pass tolls near Richmond, VA.... sweet.

Mine is permanently mounted under my fairing about 4 inches down from the top and directly over my radio. Has never failed going thru any EZPass toll booth in MA, NH, ME and NY and at 30mph. It is directly under the eagle in my pic below.

Check with your authority if they have special units for motorcycles.
&nbsp\\;
The EZ Tag store here in Houston gives a special transponder for motorcycles. It's stronger and waterproof.

In N. TX, it does not matter if it miss-reads, as long as you have a toll tag registered to the license plate of the vehicle. The toll authority told me that a hhigh percentage of all toll tags miss-read. All they do is run your tag and if it's registered, they zap your acct. I have not even carried my tag with me for the last couple years, for that very reason.
+1 in Illinois they gave it a name called VTOLL stands for video toll

I had mine implanted into the front of my skull.&nbsp\\; It leaves a bump, but I never forget it. [8D]
&nbsp\\;
Seriously, I usually carry it in my right pocket of my jeans, works there for me.&nbsp\\; I don't attach it, we move it between three vehicles.

I just purchased a mesh bag from this site: http://www.meshproducts.net/ and wrap it around my left handle bar.
