Know this sounds crazy but I spent my early life working in the woods as a chocker setter so was always in the pitch, we all carried a small container of Mayonnaise in our lunch box. It will take the pitch off quickly, then just wipe it down with whatever detail spray you use. I have done on my bike a number of times.

My driveway is under a pine tree. Tarminator works fantastic. I leave it on 30-60 seconds then wash off and put some Original Spirits Spray Cleaner and Wax on.
Mayonnaise, alcohol, other tar removers work but with a lot more elbow grease. Available at O'reillys or online.
