Default RKC AIr Suspension ???

Being new to the feel of a Harley, I need to ask a question....

What is the proper PSI for the rear suspension? I weigh 275. I cannot tell if the ride I 'm getting is right or if my old L5 disk is just getting a little sensitive.

Help!

Tommy

I'm about 75 lbs heavier than you and I always ran about 15-18 lbs in my RKC air shocks.&nbsp\\; I got tired of feeling every little bump in the road, so I replaced them with some Progressive 416's.&nbsp\\;The difference was amazing.&nbsp\\;Consider some 416s...your L5&nbsp\\;will thank you.

I just got a new RKC also.&nbsp\\; You might want to check the manual.&nbsp\\; It gives you weight ranges for rider and passenger.&nbsp\\; You are probably also going to want to buy the Harley pump for the air shock.&nbsp\\; It really takes the aggravation out of trying to properly inflate the shocks.[sm=icon_cheers.gif]

+1 on the harley pump, that was a 40.00 investment that removes frustration getting air into the shocks.&nbsp\\; Do NOT use a high pressure compressor.&nbsp\\; I am about 250 and run 15 LBS.&nbsp\\; The shocks seem to loose air over some time, so I check them with each long ride.

Tommy, get the HD pump.
It's well worth the money.

I,m 260 and I ride with about 20-22 lbs alittle move when riding 2-up. I check once a week and you should get your self a HD pump around $30 on e-bay.

I,m 200lbs and run 10lbs solo and 15-20 when 2 up. As others have said the HD pump is well worth the $40
