Dealership said replace with new harley painted ones. Insurance guy tells me I need to take it to a guy who does work out of his garage. Can the insurance tell us were we can get our bikes fixed for insurance repairs?

 

One thing for sure, he can't tell you to take it to someone not fully licensed and insured for the work he does.&nbsp\\; Everything else depends on your policy.&nbsp\\; I WOULD demand to speak w/the adjusters supervisor!

 

NO,most ins don't repair parts only replace.

 

Get a lawyer. That is BS. One phone call from the lawyer and you will get the Harley painted set.

I did not ask if this guy is licensed and insured all I know is he isn't a harley dealership. My dealership say's to replace the fenders with new painted harley ones from MoCo and the mirror, CD cover, etc. Fully cover for nine years from State Farm and they even cover aftermarket parts if I have receipts.
