Wonderin when someone would ask.....

The gaskets were supposed to be packaged in our soon to be released 2 ohm rear speakers only. Reason is, HD changed the rear speaker boxes AGAIN and made some of them with a larger material thickness than before. This is on 06 bikes only. In most cases the gaskets are not needed for these rears, but if you have "the new" speaker boxes on your bike, our magnet MAY barley touch the back wall of the speaker box, in which case your can use these gaskets to "shim" the speaker up to fit properly. Its so fricken close its not funny--less than a 1mm change--never the less a change--so we tried to "do the right thing" and include the gaskets.

Pez, I am hoping to install the speakers tomorrow. I know you shipped them Monay and I got them Thursday. That pretty fast considering it has to go through Canadian customs. Any ways these are for my 05 eg Classic front speakers. So I probably wont need the gaskets for the front speakers correct ? Great packaging to Pez. Thanks. Bob.
