&nbsp\\; I hate mounting stuff on bikes with tape.
I recently added a tour pack organizer. It warned that the
luggage rack bolts would not a accessable once the organizer was installed,
so what did I do? I removed my luggage rack and drilled through the organizer.
&nbsp\\; Re-installed my luggage rack with the bolts and washers to re-enforce
the tour pack organizer installation. I put black electrical tape over the bolts to
camoflage them.
&nbsp\\; Maybe it is time that you put those chrome rails on top of your Saddlebags? LOL

I used 3m automotive tape from Napa.
Thats what I did. Make sure it is free from anything, dirt, grime, etc. They are still there after a year.

I used the tape that came with&nbsp\\;them and that was 2 months ago with no problems. Make sure that you don't put anything in them for 48 hours for the tape to cure.

I used an adhesive purchased at Wal-Mart because no double sided tape seemed to work.
