I got mine yesterday, installed and ran it around the block. Definitely cooler. Mine is all stock. Placed the KN filter (which has wider ribbing - for air flow) and bought the refreshener oil. The install on both were so easy and the directions for it on the web errored on cautionary. Didn't have to take off the seat. Going out right now for another ride.

Aloha,

If you have all H-D components and they all match properly and do not have alternate fueling mods in place, the standard IEDs might work well for you.

If you have added parts nilly-***** they will just be another roll of the dice.

Compared to my 1986 FLHTC Liberty edition ~ the engine heat on my 07 Ultra is very noticable ...&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;so installed the RJS Origionals heat shields which helped alot!!&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; They are a great, good lookin item ..... far better than Kurkanian (sp) plastic wings.
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
Also had been reading about the Nighrider Xieds and ordered them - were shipped yesterday.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Hopefully, will get less engine heat, more power and not much alteration in mileage ..... which is currently 42 mpg on a 200 mile run w/2up.
