Tips wanted for Finger Lakes area
I posted this in the Road Trips forum but it's in Read-Only mode again so I figured I'd post it hear too.
We are headed for the Finger Lakes area of NY in a couple of weeks for a 3-day weekend. \\;\\\\\\; I have my ride planned to and from the area. \\;\\\\\\; I'm looking for tips and suggestions for rides and 'Must See' places in the region. \\;\\\\\\; We will be staying in Corning NY. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Letchworth State Park, which is South of Geneseo, is very pretty (one of several places that claims to be the "Grand Canyon of the East"). \\; Also the Ithaca area with Cornell University and some nice river gorges. \\; Keuka Lake is a beautiful area to ride around. \\;
 \\;
Depending on how far you stray, you should check out Dinosaur BBQ in Syracuse. \\; Also - my favorite breakfast place is in Chris's Diner on State Street in downtown Binghamton.

Beautiful country. \\; I was stationed at Seneca Army Depot in the early 80s. \\; Lived in Seneca Falls and Genevia. \\; Sampson State Park is a must see. \\; On the Depot there used to be totally WHite Deer. \\; Enjoy and please give a trip report when you return.
