the rpms are the same as before she just shakes ALOT more than it did!!
Had the same issue on mine. If you notice, the crossover pipe you removed served as an exhaust flow and also a support brace for the rear of the engine.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\; It tied into your right side pipe and that mounting bracket hooked to the frame right below that. Crossover gone = less support = more vibration at idle.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; No fix that I'm aware of.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; I do notice people looking at it shake at stoplights though.
&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;
That makes sense&nbsp\\; Thanks!

Watch the saddle bags at idle , you'll probably have to re-hang (adjust) the muffler on the side that shakes the most.

Bigger problem than first thought&nbsp\\; The motor is vibrating so bad the front head pipe is actually hitting the rear brake lever and right running board

Yeah, you might want to have that checked.&nbsp\\; My big shot duals came with spacing washers to move the floor board out about an inch or so for clearance, but the brake lever wasn't an issue.

I'm thinking it might really be a problem with a motor mount

This is incorrect.
On every HD Touring model, the exhaust pipes only attach to the frame, at the very tail end of the muffler, and this is a rubber mount also.
The 2 mounting brackets you are thinking of are attached to engine/transmission assembly, not the frame.
Mounting the exhaust of a rubber mounted motor to the frame would be................bad.

Hadn't thought of that.&nbsp\\; I guess that would put things in a bind.&nbsp\\; [:@]&nbsp\\; Mine does shake more than my neighbors that still has the crossover... Both '07 models.&nbsp\\; Back to the drawing board.
