Most of the roads in MI are crap, so be careful of potholes etc. Additionally, there is usually a long tail back of traffic entering and leaving the event, so keep an eye on your temps. Other than that, the cops will be out in force in MI and OH. Check your helmet laws for both States and remember that Ohio State Police seem to hate everyone with a vengeance. Ride safe, have fun.

Yes, the roads in Michigan suck. My Sister in Law was killed on I-94 three weeks ago at the Portage Rd. overpass. She was on her Sporty and hit a pothole that yanked the bars right out of her hands. Michigan sucks.
