Yep...all points to a bad voltage regulator. I just put a new one on last year when i replaced the stator.&nbsp\\; I was registering over 15v on Saturday and thought that was a bit "odd".&nbsp\\; Got some more checking to do tonight.

+1 on the charging system, you have a problem in there somewhere. Please post your findings.

You have "COMPLETED" in your title.&nbsp\\; Does this mean you found the problem?&nbsp\\; Was it a fried voltage regulator?[sm=feedback.gif]

i have found the problem and the culprit.&nbsp\\; COMPLETED meant that i had posted all the symptoms.&nbsp\\; For the past week, as we all know, this forum has had "issues" with posting.&nbsp\\; I cant seem to post anything more than 3 or four lines without getting some error.&nbsp\\; Yes I did get the problem solved.&nbsp\\; MORE TO FOLLOW

Voltage regultor was producing 15.5 volts on Saturday, well past the 14.8 max.&nbsp\\; It fried many items.&nbsp\\; I got the bike running last night and rode to work today.&nbsp\\; All is well so far.&nbsp\\; MORE TO FOLLOW

Now i dont have radio or speedo and tach.&nbsp\\; So i may need to replace the speedo sensor as the turn signals are not auto-cancelling.&nbsp\\; The radio may be due to the biketronics module being fried as i have a aftermarket sony radio not the stock HD.&nbsp\\; MORE TO FOLLOW

Word to the wise.&nbsp\\; Keep a check on your voltage output. If it gets above 15 then you may have issues.&nbsp\\; Also I am replacing the regulator today.&nbsp\\; Currently it is producing 14 v but for piece of mind i am gettgin a new one today.&nbsp\\; I have the cycle electric brand and it is still under warranty. So that will just be time to put it on.&nbsp\\; MORE TO FOLLOW

So far this has cost three days of downtime.
300$ or so in parts
2 trips to get parts
At least two tanks of gas getting the borrowed trailer and truck back to the owners.&nbsp\\; Thankfully there are still good-hearted people that will loan out a trailer/truck to get me home.
If i have to get a new sppedo/tach and radio i will have another 600-800 in this repair.&nbsp\\; Maybe I can cry loud enough to the insurance co for some assistance.
