Best seat for Road King?

RE: Best seat for Road King?
Man, you've managed to open up that \\;huge box marked 'CONFUSION'. Opinions on seats are as plentiful as the hind ends sitting on them. One man's Corbin is another's Mustang is another's C&\\;C is another's Travelcade.... well you get the picture. Best advice I can think of is to ask around at rallys \\;and sit on different examples at the vendors \\;before buying. Most people will let you \\;sit on their scoot for a minute if you ask politely. \\;Check out Craigslist and Ebay - you can take a chance if the price is cheap. Myself, \\;I have a C&\\;C \\;and it works for me. Has a removable buddy seat that works well with my \\;detachable backrest. \\;Also have a sheepskin for hot weather, won't ride in the hot without it. Good luck.

Had stock, had the sundowner, had Allen at Mean City do his "magic". \\; Save your money and go with an after market seat. I have a corbin classic solo and a passenger touring pillion that both the wife and I love. HD seats are crap. Now, to find a paint guy to repair the dings in my fender from the staples on the cheap HD seats!

All these replies, and no one has it right. The most comfortable seat for a rk is the police solo air ride seat. Hands down... I have one on my rk custom and just can not believe I waited this long to install one. Plus, Mustang makes a matching passenger pillon... win-win. Check ebay. They are not much money and really do the trick...
