RE: 2008 Street Glide Price
The dealer here in St.Charles, MO. has one on the floor. IF I RECALL correctly it had a 22,xxx sticker. And he has a tag on the bar, for 18,xxx about 4k off. If you could find one like that and work the freight ect.... that would be a deal. I myself am going to wait until winter to buy my Street Glide, since I have a scoot to ride right now,, I can be patient

If I had a chance to do it again, I would look around for a few years old (including the 2003 Anniversay) and save almost half the monies.... maybe even buy two.
Market is flooded and Craigslist is a good source of availability. \\; Private sales = no sales tax. \\; \\;

If I had a bike now I would probably wait too. As of present though, I can't ride my 4-wheelers down the highway and really don't have time for them by the time I load up, haul somwhere, etc. \\;Had them about a year and a half and have been on them 5 times. BTW-Anyone need a couple of fast 4-wheelers??

You better jump all over that one if that's the "out the door" price. You WON'T do any better than that for a new one.

Yup I know...I need more money down though unless I consign my bike. I should be good to go in a few weeks. If not then it wasnt meant to be

1. Don't buy an older bike. The 08's are better. They got these right. IDS, ABS, TBW...
 \\;
2. MSRP + Tax &\\; Lic., cruise \\;and $500.00 gift card is a pretty good deal. Don't pay any of those other "fees" they are just add ons for the dealer to make money. They will try to say they have to charge those fees. Don't fall for it.
 \\;
Out the door with a few extras for $21,000 \\;or less is not a \\;bad \\;deal.

Right not there is a lot of disconnect in the Harley dealers and the US ecconomy. \\;\\\\\\; Some states have good ecconomys and others not so good. \\;\\\\\\; Some HD dealers are almost sold out of 2008s and other dealers have 2008 models stacked to the roof. \\;\\\\\\; I can tell you the dealer I was in last week in TX is almost sold out of bikes. \\;\\\\\\; They had only had about 25 bikes left. They are waiting for the 2009s to show up. \\;\\\\\\; The dealers that are overstocked are the ones that will deal.
