No, I'm not pulling the heads and reworking anything. 02 FLHTCUI with the 04 SE 103 stroker kit. Yes, the cams are 253s. The compression is only 9:1 mabey a little more since it has 35k on it. I am only in the can-chest doing maintenance. Barrings, Tensioner, Lifters and cams. Seeing I have to spend money on cams, putting something different for more low end torque can't heart. It has always been a little lazy between 2k and 2.8k. Has anyone used this combination?

I seen good results with the HQ39's I have a set that I'm going install in a 95" with a set big boy heads I got off Philm this winter, Philm ran them and loved them! PM him he's always ready to help

 

Thanks Gil for the info. I PMed phil and I hope he can lead me into the right direction. The normal response to other peoples cam questions end up with "You need to change, work the heads, Higher compression etc..." I have what I have and I am basically stuck with it until we start smoking or knocking!&nbsp\\; Thanks again!
