Default RoadKing Seat

Have a 2006 Roadking standard that will be ready according to the HD Dealer 03/27/06. It comes standard with a studded Sundowner seat. Seating is very very important to wife and to me. Is this seat any good or should I go ahead and order the other Sundowner seat. On HD's web site it lists 2 different Sundowner seats, plain and the studded. Thanks for any suggestions and help.

I believe the only difference is the studs. The seats are the same. You'll love the sundowner, it's great. Did you order the Sundowner? I don't think that it comes standard on any model.

We had to order this bike from thru the local HD dealer. We wanted the Glazier Pearl White. We have a list of upgrades with them and the Studded Sundowner seat and passenger back rest is at the top of the list. My wife will not let me leave the dealer without a good seat. Thanks, I just have a lot invested in this bike and don't even have it yet. LOL

In my first post I stated comes standard, I don't know if the sundowner is or was standard when I ordered the bike. I just know that is what is on my list of upgrades before bringing it home.

I know on the 05 Dyna, the seat was the first thing replaced. Replaced the first week. Wife wouldn't even ride around the block.

The sundowner is a good seat.. The passanger part is alot more comfortable than the stock seat according to my better half..I agree you need to get the drivers backrest. You will really enjoy it. [sm=goodidea.gif]
The RK Standard comes with the black studs.
