Looking for some pics of bikes (EG/SG) with the Clearview 8" recurve shield. Trying to decide between the 6.5" or 8" shield. I know the 6.5" looks good and provides good protection, but want to see if the extra 1.5" height would still look good? IMO, once you go too tall on the windshield, it starts to take away from the looks especially on the SG. Thanks.....

I put 370 miles on a rented SG this past Saturday.&nbsp\\; I'm 5'10, and the buffeting at highway speeds is unbelieveable.&nbsp\\; My vision was blurred by my shaking helmet at 60 or above.&nbsp\\; Other than that, I love the bike!&nbsp\\; I also had a similar experience with an Electra Glide Standard over Memorial day.

Do the recurve shields eliminate this buffeting, or is is something a SG/EG rider just learns to live with?&nbsp\\; The bike is perfect to me aside from this bad trait.&nbsp\\; If I didn't spend so much time on the highway I wouldn't worry about it.

 

not 8 inch but I just installed the 6.5 inch w curve on my bike today. i'm 5 10&nbsp\\; 32 inseam. Just came back from ride on local street, seems to minimize my glasses from shaking and eyesight blurry. got it up to 50 -55 seems okay. difference from stock very noticeable. did not get on highway yet, still traffic on highway from people getting off from work. happy with the product right now. will know more when getting on the highway 70 75 mph&nbsp\\;

 

Just put 6.5 on my SG today - rode to work - big difference from stock shield.&nbsp\\; Haven't been on interstate yet, but much better on two lane.
